Obituary of Marian Holbein

Holbein, Marian “Our Sunshine” April 2, 1927—Dec. 22, 2008 Join us in celebrating the life of a great lady, whom the angels took on Monday December 22 , 2008. Marian was 81 years old and was a loving and devoted mother to her son Bruce, her daughter in law Sharon and her daughter Brenda. She will be sadly missed by her grandsons Marc, Paula and Kurt. In spite of some life disappointments, she remained a warm, kind, generous, loving woman who was always full of wit. She was loved by her family and friends, the many children she babysat, and the caregivers at The Villa, The Grove and just recently Cassellholme in North Bay. Her sparkling eyes and warm smile captured many hearts. Marian stayed home to raise her children and provided a warm loving home. She loved to cook and was famous for her butter tarts and pies. She was a beautiful knitter and outfitted family and friends in many a sweater. We will celebrate her life on Saturday December 27, 2008 at Boyce Funeral Home, Arnprior from 12 noon to 2: pm followed by a service in The Boyce Chapel at 2: pm. Rev Brian Barr officiating.
