Helen passed away at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior with family at her side on Monday evening, August 17, 2009. Helen Brown (nee Barnet) of Arnprior in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Douglas Martyn Brown for 65 years. Dear mother of Martyn (Edith), Allyson Egan (Henry), Christopher (Stephanie), Theodore (Bernice), Catherine Levy (Brock Sine), Deborah Gravelle (Don), Faye (the late Daryle McLellan), Stephen (Nancy), Scott (Judy), Alexandra Carnegie (Douglas), Jonathon (Jo-Ann), Jeffrey (Robin), Douglas Jr. (Nancy) and Anthony (Sue). Dear grandmother of 24 and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents James and Catherine Barnet, her sisters Alice and Agnes and her brothers Desmond, Redmond and Lionel, Helen was the last of the Barnet Family. Fondly remembered by Richard Levy.

Helen has requested a private family visitation prior to a celebration of the Eucharist which will be held at St John Chrysostom Catholic Church in Arnprior on Thursday August 20, 2009 at 2: p.m.
Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery
