Obituary of Harold Eugene Salter

Salter, Harold Eugene March 3, 1934—February 10, 2011 (retired Ontario Hydro, member Arnprior Legion Branch 174) At the Ottawa Heart Institute, he left us peacefully with all his loved ones at his side. Harold Salter of Arnprior in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Helen Lorraine Holbein. Dear father of Debbie (Jim) Homer, Katherine (Mike) Mask, Steven (Sue) Salter and Lori Chusroskie (Kevin Nicholas) and her former husband John Chusroskie and Ian Moodie, Harold’s good neighbour who he called his second son. Dear grandfather of Amanda and Kyle Mask, Nikki and Scott Salter and Curtis and Cory Chusroskie. Dear brother of Mike Salter of Renfrew. Predeceased by brothers Stewart, Glenn and Ronnie. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Claude Eugene Salter and Ethel Irene Boulton. The family would especially like to thank nurse, Sue, in the ICU. She was a God send right to the end. Visitations at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p. m. and after 1: p.m. Monday. Funeral service will be held in the Boyce Chapel Monday February 14, 2011 at 2: p.m. with Rev Paul Benson officiating. Cremation to follow.
