Obituary of Margaret Jean Kemsley

Kemsley, Margaret Jean (nee James) December 30, 1918-March 26, 2014 Passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday morning March 26, 2014 at the Arnprior District Memorial Hospital in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Kemsley. Dear mother of Lenna (Dr. Randall) Whyte. Predeceased by daughter Susan (Ron) Postin. Loving grandmother of Erin (Clay Deighton) Whyte, Carolynn (Cobey Errett)Whyte, Ian (Megan) Postin and Ben (Tina) Postin. Predeceased by grandson Jeffrey Whyte (2007). Cherished great-grandmother of Peyton and Cooper Errett. Predeceased by brothers Fred, Lyle, and George James and sister Anne Harris. Daughter of the late Harry James and Lenna McIntosh. Margaret was a proud member of the Trinity Anglican Church Guild and the Grace St. Andrew’s UCW, Arnprior. Her grandchildren and many others would fondly remember her as “Grandma Apple-Juice”. She will be remembered for her strong faith and her wonderful sense of humor she shared about life with her family and friends. Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior A Celebration of Life will be held to honour Margaret’s life at the Grace St. Andrew’s United Church, Arnprior Sunday April 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow in the Christian Education Centre. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday May 17, 2014 at 11:00am at Trinity Anglican Church, Murphy Road, Sarnia. Reception to follow in church hall.  Burial of ashes will be at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriams to the Grace St. Andrew’s United Church Columbarium Fund, GSA Memorial Stained Glass Window Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by her family.
