Bob passed away peacefully in the Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew Tuesday July 29, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Mary Bidgood (nee Bennett) who still resides there. Dear father of Christine Bidgood-Henderson (Hugh Henderson), Andy Bidgood (Amanda Skevington), Bruce Bidgood (Sylvie Crytes) and Nang Allan Tran (Emily). Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Emma, Zach, Andrea, Robyn, Emily, Alyssa, Erin, Jessica, Kaitlyn and Aaron. Much loved great-grandfather of Deseray. Dear brother of Sheila Cavanagh (late Len), Betty Dowd (late Bob), Hilda Cavanagh (Mervyn) and Bev Pothier (Claude). Son of the late Cecil Bidgood and Edna Smith. Robert will be sorely missed by all his family and friends for his love of life and people, his gifts of music, art and dancing. Thank you to all of the staff and community at Bonnechere Manor for making Bob's last few years so enjoyable as he was truly happy and adventurous there. His wish was that we celebrate his life and rest in the knowledge that he is now in Heaven enjoying every moment.

Friday August 1, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
Funeral Service will be held Friday August 1, 2014 in the Boyce Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
