June 25, 1935-October 28, 2014
Sam's family is very sad to announce his passing on October 28th. Sam will be forever loved by his devoted wife, Katherine, with whom he shared a wonderful life.
Family was everything to Sam. He is also loved by his two girls, Anne and Susan and sons-in-law, Bruce and Michael.
Sam felt so blessed with the arrival of each of his four grandsons: Andrew, Robert, Alexander and Henri, and they will miss him terribly.
Ever the optimist, Sam fought against his illness with amazing courage and determination. We are grateful for the support of our friends and neighbours throughout Sam's journey and for the compassionate care provided by both the Irving Greenberg Cancer Centre and the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital.
Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel St., N., Arnprior.
A Memorial Service in honour of Sams life will be held Saturday, November 1st, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Boyce Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, Partners In Caring.
