Obituary of Evelyn Louise Furniss

Furniss, Evelyn Louise July 27, 2015-May 19, 2016 Evelyn Louise passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents at home Thursday evening, May 19, 2016. Evelyn Louise was born on July 27, 2015. During her nine and a half months here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by her parents and friends and everyone who had the chance to know her. Evelyn Louise is the beloved daughter of Jeffrey and Melanie (Krieger) Furniss of Renfrew. She is the most precious granddaughter of Mark and Anita (Rancourt) Krieger, Brian and Patty (Hill) Ogilvie and Robert and Susan (Arsenault) Furniss. Loved by her great-grandparents Eva (late Willis) Krieger, Richard and Gladys Hill and Betty (late Glen) Furniss. Evelyn will be greeted in heaven by her great-grandparents Oscar and Jean Rancourt and her late uncle, Christopher Furniss. She will always be remembered by aunts and uncles; Jonathan, Tiffany (Kacey Turcotte), Zachary Krieger, Derek (Priya) Arsenault, Amy (Ryan Richardson), Rebecca (Steve) Crochetiere and Travis Arsenault. A special thank you to CHEO, Roger’s House, Dr. Splinter and all of those who came together in support and love during Evelyn’s journey. Our precious little angel will always be remembered by everyone her story touched. Friends are invited to join Evelyn’s family during visitation Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday May 25, 2016 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Castleford Union Cemetery, Renfrew. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on in all of our hearts forever and will continue beyond. For those wishing, a donation to the Roger’s House, Ottawa would be appreciated by her family.
