Dear Grandma, I still cannot believe that you are gone, a big piece of my heart is gone. You have no idea how much you are already missed. My girls will always hear about Gamma B. They will never forget you.And all of my memories and all of the things that have always made me think of you throughout my life till still now, christmas candies, certain christmas decorations, petunias and marigolds and their smell, driving past cullen gardens, all the beautiful blankets you made, strawberry patches and picking, preserves the night you and I fed the bear across the lake and of course flip flops and so many more. I still can hear your voice and i hope you know how much you were and are still loved. Love and miss you forever. I hope you are at peace.
Love Sharlene

Dear mom, the last four days have been the worst days of my life. Even though they have been filled with all the memories of the great times we had together they were also filled with tears and heartache knowing I will never see you again until god calls me home. You were the best mother in the world so loving and caring. I still can not understand mother how some people could treat you the way they did the last three years, how could they forget all you have gave and done for them. All the nights you stayed awake holding them well they were sick and showing your love. Working two jobs just so you could buy us that special toy at Christmas. Always making sure we were well feed and clean clothes and of course all your talks of encouragement when things were not going well for us. I shake my head in disbelief and say to myself do they not understand life is to short so cherish everyday you have with your loved ones so when the day comes and god calls any one of them home your memories are good ones instead of sadness and regret of what you missed in life !!!
Although I am very sad you left way to soon I am glad I was able to spend my whole life with you and will cherish everyday and memory we shared.
The last three months we talked so much and never left each others side so the night you had to stay in the hospital was very sad for me. Home felt empty without you here and I prayed for you to come home. I promised I would take care of you forever the same way you cared for me as a child. Cooking you supper, making your coffee and then sitting down to watch your favourite game shows it was the best three months of my life !!! Then day after day I would visit you and come home alone. The last three days I listened to all your wishes you wanted me to carry out for you and promised I would do my best. The last two days I spent holding your hand and crying because I knew the end was near. Now you are at peace and I am happy no one can cause you anymore pain and suffering and thank the lord that I was with you until he called you home.
The biggest lesson you taught me in life was to make my own choice, don't let anyone talk you into hating someone and it's better to forgive!!! Had I made the mistake as others did I would have lost three years of memories with the greatest mother in the world !!!
Rest in peace mom I will carry on we're you left off !!!

I remember our one and only dance, we were not a very good match, we kept stepping on each others feet, three things are certain, our timing on the dance floor was off, you loved your cats and you loved your petunias ...
Gonna miss you
