Obituary of Jacqueline "Jackie" Legree

Peacefully at Hospice Renfrew Sunday evening, May 20, 2018;  Jackie Legree of Arnprior, Ontario at the age of 88.  Jackie was born in Alsace, France to her late parents Joseph and Pauline (nee Klein) Wendling. Beloved wife of 31 years of Brian Legree.  Predeceased by husband of 31 years Aloyse “Louis” Kennel (1985).  Loving mother of Sonia Lindsay (Doug) of Arnprior,  Danny Kennel of Renfrew, Jack Kennel (Deon) of Barrhaven and Michelle Kennel (Asmae) of Barrhaven.  Will forever be cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Alice Schmitt.  Will be missed by her family and relatives in France.   Predeceased by brothers Robert, Bernard, Fernard and sister Jeanne.  The kindness and generosity of Rose Schinkle (late Jack) and family of Renfrew will never be forgotten.  She will be missed by her church family, neighbours and countless friends.  A special thank you to Dr. Kurian and staff of the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital as well as Dr. Bishop and staff and volunteers of Hospice Renfrew for their excellent care and support to both Jackie and her family.    Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  Visitation will be held Thursday May 24, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Boyce Chapel.   In memory of Jackie, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hospice Renfrew.
