Everett James Dolan

June 23, 1925-August 23, 2018

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Everett James Dolan, of Stittsville and formerly of Fitzroy Harbour, on August 23, 2018, at 93 years of age, after years of battling several health issues. Beloved husband of Shirley Dolan (nee Wilson) for 70 years. Precious father to Brian, Susan and Lynn (Herb), much loved grandfather of Tanya Sadler, Jeff Sadler (Krysta), Shawn Dolan (Lana) and Sarah Donaldson (Chris). Cherished great-grandfather to Abigail and Jack Donaldson, Nyla Dolan and Owen, Ryan and Colin Sadler. Survived by sister Lois Langford (late Eddie) and many devoted nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Dolan, brothers Elmer (Lois), Herman (Jean), Mervyn (Delta) and sisters Della Ritchie (Mervyn), Emma Poole (Jack). Everett retired from farming in Woodlawn and later from Norman Wade Co., Ottawa. He was a gentle man who loved life, people and lived for his family. Special thanks to the Personal Support Workers from Champlain LHIN and St. Elizabeth, to the QCH staff, to Dr. Connell and staff at the West Carleton Medical Centre and paramedics for all their excellent care and compassion. Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N, Arnprior. Visitations will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and after 10:00 am Tuesday. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday August 28, 2018, in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 am. Private (family and friends) Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Everett’s name to the Champlain LHIN, 100-4200 Labelle St., Ottawa, or the West Carleton Medical Centre, Carp.
