Back in the 1970s and 80s, when we were young, Kevin and I were best friends. I was his best man when he married Pat. Kevin was an amazing guy, very bright, and the most loyal person I've ever met. He rose through adversity to become an outstanding and successful person. When times were tough, I stood by Kevin like a brother and did all I could for him. As is common with military people, we unfortunately drifted apart due to postings, but I never forgot Kevin, and I never will. It was with great sadness that I learned of his passing, as I had hoped to meet up with him again someday. My condolences to the family on your great loss.

I had the good fortune to work with Kevin on a number of field trials. He was a warm, friendly, smiling person and a pleasure to be around. I will think of him often and mourn his loss. My sincere condolences. He was a good man.

I don’t even know how to process this loss. I met you almost 20 years ago with my best friend Robyn you were the man that showed me happily ever after does exist. After spending hours of conversations about life and death made a promise to you years ago i would make sure Robyn and your family is ok. You always kept it real and welcomed me as part of your family. You treated my children as if they were your own. There is such a void since your passing, but i have the stories for years that keep the smile on faces of those who are shedding tears.
You have been one of the most respected people i have ever come accross in my life time. Thank you Kevin. for sharing your life wisdom and courage wirh me
Love you Kevin
Until we meet again

The world has lost one of the kindest, most generous people many of us have ever known. Whether over a cup of coffee, a fresh coat of paint, the open hood of a car, or amongst kids, Kevin has been a person who made you feel safe, and taken care of. He had a calming presence, and when things were falling apart, having Kevin in your corner meant you were going to be all right. Few people have that precious gift of making things better, by simply being there.
To Robyn and family, we feel deeply for your loss. We are all so much better for having had him in our lives. My God, we will miss him profoundly.

My deepest condolences to the family. I knew and worked with Kevin in Cold Lake and in Ottawa at NDHQ. He was an excellent tech and always a great friend. He worked just a few cubicles away and always dropped by to shoot the breeze and share some car stories. He was always eager to help anyone and spoke fondly of his family. Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed.
