Obituary of Frances Savard

(nee Courchesnes)

March 9th, 1935 - May 27th, 2019

Peacefully at the Grove Nursing Home with her daughter by her side on Monday May 27th, 2019; Frances Doreen Savard of Arnprior passed away after a battle with dementia in her 85th year.  Predeceased by an infant son, Norman the father of her children, best friend Gilbert Gilmour, siblings: Fernande, Isabelle, Georgette, Anna and Rita, son-in-law Bob and daughter-in-law Gladys.  Loving mother of Mike, Kevin, Kim Blackburn (Jim), and Chris.  Cherished and proud Nanny of Jeffrey, Curtis, Kelsey, Kyler, Justin, Jason, Jordan, Joey and Nikki.  Precious great-grandmother of 10.  Dear sister of Margaret, Carmel and George.  Daughter of the late Leo and Jean (Lavigne) Courchesnes.  An angel far before her time, she has earned her rest.   Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  Visitations will be held Thursday May 30, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 31, 2019 at St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery.  Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre.   In memory of Frances, a donation to the Grove Redevelopment Fund would be appreciated.
