Obituary of Lillian Millar
It is with sadness, we announce that Lillian Millar of White Lake, Ontario passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday August 31, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence R. Millar (1993). Loving mother of Brian (Joanne) of Pakenham, Bruce (Eileen) of White Lake and Carol of Courtenay, B.C. Proud grandmother of Leanne, Kimberly (Alex), Christopher (Nicole), Ryan (Jenn), Matthew, Alex and Janna and cherished great-grandmother of Jordana, Kaiya and Isobel. Survived by her sisters Audrey Buckingham (late Keith) of Metcalfe and Thelma Sandberg (Jim) of Newcastle and sister-in-law Margaret Bole of Arnprior. Lillian was predeceased by her brother Howard and sister Shirley Levesque (late Leo). She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Ermel Bole and the late Jessie Barr. Lillian was the long-time organist at the White Lake United Church and gave her time and musical talents openly to many area churches, organizations, and functions. Lillian will also be fondly remembered at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd. where she dedicated many years to the public as interim organist/pianist. Her genuine love for her family and concern for others will be missed by so many. Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Visitation will be held Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday September 5, 2019 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ryan Kim officiating. Interment at White Lake Community Cemetery with reception to follow at the White Lake United Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Lillian, a donation may be made to the White Lake United Church or to a charity of your choice.
