Obituary of Nancy Nardone

(nee Stewart)

Passed away at her home in Stittsville on Friday October 18, 2019 at the age of 61.  Nancy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years Sal Nardone; her parents June and Doug Stewart of Arnprior; her sister Janet (Tony) Fuso of Ottawa; her brother Stephen (Diane) Stewart of Toronto and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Nancy graduated from Algonquin college and spent many years working with Children and Youth Services Bureau in Ottawa.  She was a passionate animal lover who, over the years, cherished and trained numerous Jack Russell terriers, including her favourites Oscar and Zeus.  Nancy was also an avid gardener and her home garden was always a showpiece.  She was knowledgeable about plants and always willing to share that knowledge with others.  Nancy was an excellent cook who always contributed delicious dishes to family gatherings.  She was a loving wife and daughter and good friend.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.   Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Nancy's Life Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Boyce Funeral Home from 1-3 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to the Wildbird Care Centre, 734 Moodie Dr, Nepean, ON K2R 1H4, https://www.wildbirdcarecentre.org/ or to your local humane society.
