Obituary of Phil Dorzek

With great sadness we announce that Phil passed away at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Tuesday evening, December 3, 2019.  Phillip Ormond Dorzek of Arnprior at the age of 66.  Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Martineau).  Loving father of Samantha Barr (Rodney). Predeceased by his son Jarett (2010).  Most cherished grandpa of Braxton, Bryn, Cayden, Owen, Bently and Emily.  Dear father-in-law of Kelsey (Jordan McLeod).  Phil is survived by his sister Patricia.  Predeceased by parents Floren and Hazel (Peck) Dorzek of Cawood, Quebec as well as siblings Ronald and Sheila.  He will be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Diane Martineau (Mike) and Catherine Young (Todd).  Arrangements entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  As per Phil’s request, there will not be a visitation.  Memorial Service will be held Monday December 9, 2019 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow in the Boyce Reception Centre.  Spring Interment White Lake Community Cemetery.  In memory of Phil, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
