Doris was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I grew to love her very much throughout
the many years I knew her. She was a beloved friend and family member as the grandma of my two
sons and the great grandma of my grandchildren. We stayed in touch and it was always a joy to hear
her voice on the other end of the phone or to see her. She will be greatly missed but there is comfort
in believing God has taken her home where she is free of all the cares of this world and is at peace
in His loving arms.
Love & Deepest sympathies to all family members,
Maxine Villeneuve

Steve, Carol, Dave & Sue our deepest heart felt condolences on Auntie Doris's passing. I know she will be watching over all of you and all of us, as she always did no matter what.
I have so many wonderful and memories of Auntie Doris(Uncle Ed, Ken aka Skip to most of us) When mom & dad (Dorien & Keenan Spence) would bring us up to the cottage to spend a week or two with them. One that would make her laugh was when Darryl, Dylan and I called to let Steve and Carol know we would be stopping in for a quick visit to the cottage on Lake Dore, to our surprise, Auntie Doris , Dave & Sue were also there it was a great time for them to meet my new family, Darryl and my step son Dylan who at the time was just 4 yrs old. Dylan was loving the lake and as the adults chatted & getting caught up , Dylan's voice piped up with " Girls, hey Girls" Just that coming out of Dylan made Auntie Doris laugh and she would tell my Mom (Dorien Spence) this story when she would call her. We all have our memories of you Auntie Doris, we will miss you but I can hear your voice now! Love you Auntie Doris we will miss you always

I love that smiling face. I will always remember Aunty Doe that way. She is definitely someone that I looked up to and I will always remember the laughs we shared.
Sending my love.
