Obituary of Bryan Strong

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Bryan passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Nancy Strong (Gervan). Much loved Dad of Greg and Jason Strong. Dear brother of Gordie (Sandra), Bob (Bernice) and Anne Brown. Predeceased by brothers Donnie and Arden (late Cathy) and sister Vivian Cavanagh (late Stuart). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and missed dearly by his faithful companion Bandit. Son of the late Mervyn and Beatrice (Anderson) Strong. Bryan lived a full but simple life and had no complaints. He worked hard on the family farm all his life and developed mechanical talents necessary for a farmer. Quiet, but always willing to lend a hand and help a neighbour. A man of few words will be missed by many. Bryan’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A graveside service will take place at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Woodlawn at a later date to be announced.
