Sandy Hook truly lost one of the kindest and most gentle souls ever in Danny. I will always remember seeing Danny taking his dog for his daily walk around Sandy Hook and into the graveyard. He had to be the fastest dog walker ever. Our deepest condolences to Steve and all the Whyte family. He will be missed.

To the Whyte family,
Noreen and I extend our deepest sympathies to all at Danny's passing. He always had time for a chat with me and loved to reminisce about life lived in Sandyhook. Danny was a man of faith living it in a simple way. He shared with me not to long ago that the thing He missed most during the pandemic was not being able to sing in the church choir. He'll be missed around the Sandyhook.

My condolences to the entire Whyte family on Danny’s passing. I will always remember Danny as a kind, gentle soul. He was quick with a wave or a hello. He had a huge heart, dressing up as Santa for the neighborhood kids, or watching out for the kids on Halloween. Sandy Hook has lost another great neighbor. He lived a quiet life, and as a neighbor, we could not have asked for a better one.

I've known Dan all of my life. We lived next door to each other our entire lives. We also worked together at Gillies sawmill as many Sandy Hookers did until it was shut down in the early 1990's. We went back for another 5 years when it was re-opened by Tembec. We'd have many laughs and conversations while leaning on the fence when he'd walk Joey (his much loved dog). I never heard a harsh word come from him about anyone or anything. He was a good neighbor and even a better friend. He'll be missed in our community by everyone who knew him. Rest In Pease Dan. So very sorry to hear of Danny's passing...
May you find comfort and strength in knowing
That we all share your sorrow
And in these moments of loss
We hope you will be comforted
By our words of compassion
And fond memories we offer and share.
Danny was one of my bowling buddies for a long time.
I loved to tease him just to make him laugh
And he gave it right back.
He adored my Mom (Alma Majaury)
As he spent a lot of time with his Mom in
Arnprior Fabrics. He missed his Mom so much when she
passed away. I am glad he is with her now.
He was a truly respectful gentleman all the time
And I will miss my friend.
Rest in peace in God's loving arms...
