Happy memories of my days and nights in Arnprior, and will never forget the time you and Peter made the mistake of turning your house over to my younger brother and his Army friends who insisted on doing all the dish washing and house chores before I arrived. May Peter rest in peace and be remembered by those of us who spent our lives around him.

Dear Pat,Stacey, Andrea and family. Please except my heart felt condolences on the passing of Peter. I wanted to let you know what a large influence and mentor Peter was too me. He hired me at the brickyard back in 1974 and I stayed until it closed it's doors in 1980. I loved my time at the plant with many great memories. Peter believed in me and gave me many opportunities to challenge myself and I don't think I ever disappointed him. However yes he did give me one challenge I wasn't sure at first I was going to be able too live up to .... but with Pete's persistence he got me there. In case you are wondering what that was.....enjoying a good glass of scotch... I raise a glass to you my friend ! Thank you for helping to make me who I am today. I will always be grateful. Rest in peace.

Hi Pat....very sorry to learn of Peter’s passing. His twinkle and smile will be missed by many. It was great to see the old hockey photo on Facebook where I was standing directly behind Peter many years have past since that photo was taken.
I remember playing at the McKay home on John Street and later at the brickyard. The brickyard is where Georgie, Terry Leclaire, Peter Goodwin and myself played cowboys and Indians....fishing in the creek and annoying your dad Bernard.
Most of us lived in fear of the two guard dogs Kazan and Nigs at the brickyard but it never stopped the fun we had there.
I know you must have made allot of wonderful memories over the years and hopefully you and your family will find comfort reflecting on them. May Peter Rest In Peace. Sincerely, Bill Levesque

Dear Sheilagh and Pat
So very sorry to hear about Peter's passing. Always remember living beside the McKay's on John Street so many years ago. We had a lot of fun as kids - picking dew worms and playing cowboys. Peter was always a lot of fun and we enjoyed any time over the years when we met up with him. Peter always had something "on the go". Unfortunately his health issues were a worry to you all and he had some bad times. Hopefully the good memories will be of comfort to you all at this sad time.
Sincerely Jeannie and Harry Barr

I was very sorry to hear that Peter had passed away. I realize that he has had Heart issues for many years. My condolences to you and your children. It has been awhile since we spoke, but my health has not been good, since the passing of Cindy. I am currently in an Electric Chair living in Riverview Heights Retirement Home in Pembroke.

I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. Over the last few years I met with the two of you, but mainly at the hospital. It was always good to talk to you and Peter was always upbeat. Thinking of you during this difficult time of your life.
