It is with deepest sympathy to Heather (Brian), Nancy (Everett), Gary (Tracy) extended Family and friends on Doris’s passing.
I have any wonderful memories of Doris from attending Glad Tidings.
Doris loved the Lord and enjoyed being involved in many activities during her attendance at Glad Tidings.
I have many fond memories over the years of visiting with her on my trips home. She loved talking about her family and always caught me up on the news. She will be sorely missed.

Dear Heather, Nancy and Gary,
My memories of your mom were of course growing up in the church while attending Sunday School and youth group. There were so many wedding and baby showers downstairs at Glad Tidings that brought us all together, and also times of prayer in the back room. I appreciated your mom's service and commitment to God. While our paths did not cross much since I moved to Saskatchewan more than 30 years ago, I welcomed your mom's smile and greeting at church whenever I was home for a visit.

To the Cotnam Family:
My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your dear Mom. When I moved to Arnprior to live with my grandparents Dougall & Mary Burton in 1981 your Mom “adopted” me as a daughter for mother/daughter activities at the church. She was a very special lady who loved the Lord & served Him faithfully.
May God’s peace & comfort surround you her family at this very difficult time.

So many great memories of life at 64 McGonigal St! It was the start of my life here in Arnprior! Woody and Doris and the family downstairs, myself and Mamie and Mabel upstairs! We had great times. I will always remember the night I came home from Cobden after giving my life to Christ at camp and the look of joy on their faces after I got them out of bed with my insistent rapping on the door. All the fun and antics at Heathers wedding! Special times in the prayer room at church. Seeing me off own my own wedding adventure with Kenny in1979. They were my home away from home for six years. My sincerest condolences to Heather, Nancy and Gary and to sister Jean. With loving thoughts...Marg and Ken Lamendeau

Dear Gary,
Very sorry to hear of your mom's passing; your mother was an amazing human being. I was always amazed at how much your dad and mom loved each other, and I have fond memories of your dad and mom talking sweet to each other in front of us as kids at the dinner table. So many great memories I could share. Your mother was a truly gracious and kindhearted soul, and she was a mother who treated us all like we were here own, an amazing cook and pie maker too. I know how close you were to your mother, and I am thinking of you at this time. So sorry for this loss.

Dear Heather, Nancy and Gary
We first meet your mom at Glad Tidings. She helped us so much with caring and support. Could always count on her smile. We had no idea that she was at the Villa until the day we took Mom (Ruby) on tour. The first person we ran into was Doris introduced her to Mom and they hit it off. When Mom moved into the Villa it was your Mom that was there for her. As you know they became inseparable.
Your Mom was such a blessing to my family. We are deeply saddened at Doris passing. We have you in our prayers. Jeff and Rebecca Brading
