I just noticed this obituary and had to say a few words…Mary and I use to work together at Veterans Affairs in 1980. I was 18 and it was my first job out of ADHS! On hot summer days We would get out early because of the heat and I would bring Mary home and we would take the bus. She was a lovely lovel lady and often thought of her over the years. Wendy and Doug, Back in 1961,I lived on Daniel street,I will remember your Mother’s warm cookies, after school. Mary’s smile and smooth, spiritual Voice ,her piano music and hymns ,atClaude Street . Mr McCrea’s truck in the lane. Mrs McCrea paying the bills and answering the ‘McCrea’s Electric’ business phone. Thank you ,Mrs McCrea, for helping us to love music and sing a song of joy. Wendy’s friends learned cartwheels on the lawn. And the gals ended up singing in their church choirs. But the Calvary baptist choir was always the best in Arnprior.! I just watched the service today, Saturday. And sang along. Sending Love to all of your family ,at this sad time. Jo Sully Page

Wendy and Doug
My deepest condolences to you both. I have so many memories of being at your home spending time there enjoying all the delicious meals Aunt Mary prepared. I remember us all as kids climbing into Uncle Alfie's truck going first a Sunday drive. Your mom had a smile that lit up a room. She will be missed by so many. May she rest in peace. She is home now . God Bless you both xo

As you well know Wendy and Doug, I lived at your house pretty much and always remember both your parents as beautiful Christians who treated me so warmly and kindly. It is sad to see Mrs. McCrea passed away from this earth but at the same time such a wonderful comfort to know she is in heaven with your Dad. I loved her very much.
