Obituary of Mildred Veitch

November 5, 1924-June 30, 2021 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mildred Eleanor Veitch at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 30th, 2021 at the age of 96. She is now in the presence of her Saviour and Lord in heaven for all eternity. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Veitch (2011). Mildred is survived by and will forever be missed by her children Marilyn Pasche (Alex) of Pine Grove, Arnprior and Len Veitch (Carla) of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by daughter June Otrok (2016). Loving grandmother of Chantal, Danielle, Sandra, Tanya, Eric, Matthew, Annie, and Ken; cherished great-grandmother of Owen, Charlize, Caitlin, Ben, Josh, Carter, Piper, Reegan, Livia, Liam, Wyatt and Paisley and great-great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Gwen Lagendyk (Harry). Predeceased by brother Gerald (Sheila) and sisters; Muriel (late Curtis), Agnes (late Don) and Isabel (late Alvin). She will be lovingly missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Young) Hodgins. Mildred was an amazing woman who brought joy to so many throughout her 96 years on Earth, she was one-in-a-million. A special thank you to Mildred’s Arnprior Villa Family for their wonderful care and friendship. Mildred’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Boyce Chapel. Due to Covid restrictions on numbers only invited guests are able to attend. Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Mildred a donation may be made to the Gideon Bibles or to the Foundation of Christian Service, St. Catharine’s, Ontario. On this sad day, Mildred’s family grieve her passing and remember a wonderful mother, grandmother sister and friend who filled our lives with inspiration and so many beautiful memories. We will miss you Mom.
