Obituary of David Lackey

(Retired Farmer) Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, Monday July 19, 2021. David William Lackey of Arnprior, just one month shy of his 80th birthday. Predeceased by his wife Carolyn Lackey (nee Pichette) (2010). Survived by his children Randy Lackey (Brandi), David Lackey, Shannon Lackey (Rob), Danielle Lackey (Mike), grandchildren; Melissa Durant (Patrick), Jaime Sutcliffe (Josh), Jessica Lackey (Steve), Randi-Lynn Lackey (Blair), Jimmy Larmone (Sarah), Bailie Patrois (Dillion), Jayda Patrois, Neveah Patrois, Khail Lackey and his great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Harold Lackey (Jane) and Cody Lackey (Cathy). Predeceased by brothers Gordon and Danny. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Partner and best friend of Cheryl Craig. Son of the late Hubert and Marion (Hyde) Lackey. David will be fondly remembered for his life-long love of farming and his genuine kindness and willingness to help others. David’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North where a Private Family Memorial Service will be held Sunday July 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be Live Webcast for extended family and friends.
