I have many happy memories of Christmases, New Years and birthdays growing up in Montreal with my cousin Gail. She was always the life of the party even then. So glad that our paths continued to cross into adulthood. She will be greatly missed! Condolences to Katrina, Stephen, Joan and all Gail's extended family. It was a lovely service on the 23rd, she would have been proud of Lenna's solo. Eric and Cathie Reid

Stephen, Katrina and Families, I am so very sorry for your huge loss of Gail. She was always so vibrant and full of life, with a smile that lit up a room! I have many fond memories of being in the Braeside United Church Choir and several cantatas with her, as we shared music and laughter and friendship. Sing with the angels now my friend, we will miss you!

Stephen, Katrina and families, my thoughts and prayers go out to you as you travel this road without your Mom. Gail was an amazing person who was always kind and thoughtful. She was also an excellent babysitter who had a home filled with children's laughter. It seems like just yesterday I was chatting with her in Metro and hearing how everyone was doing. She was so proud of each of her children and grand-children. May God bless each of you and hold you in the palm of His hand as you travel this new road. May your memories remain strong and keep your Mom close in your hearts always.

My sincere condolences to Gail’s family. I meet Gail four years ago when I started cleaning her home for her. I was there on a monthly basis and I always looked forward to seeing Gail. Before I would start the cleaning, Gail would always tell me how her month was and she would always ask how mine was. I will miss her dearly. Even though I was just there to clean I felt she was a big part of my life. I will miss her saying ‘ANYWAY’ before she would start another story. Rest In Peace my dear friend, you will always be in my heart. ❤️

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the family of Gail Grail. My thoughts linger back when I met Gail some 20 years ago when we came to sing together for the Valley Festival. Gail was a beautiful person, kind-hearted as well as energetic, a diligent worker for any project in her church or community. We were blessed to have known her.
On Eagle's Wings
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in His shadow for life,
Say to the Lord, "My Refuge,
My Rock in Whom I trust."
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.

To Joan and all of Gail's family our sincere condolences. I remember Gail well from Montreal West, with her lovely long braided red hair, making toffee in her apartment and listening to her sing in school, church, weddings and funerals. She was lovely. So sorry to hear of her passing. She will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered with a smile and a song. God bless. Merlin and Scotty McRae

To all the family of Gail - what a shock to read of her passing and I am so so sorry. Gail and I grew up together in Montreal West, attended school together as well as attending Montreal West United church. I spent many a happy hour at the Jackson’s apartment, playing with both Gail and her sister Joan. She and I took a wonderful trip to Nassau and she also sang at my wedding in 1971. We had made plans to get together up at White Lake this fall after Covid had slowed down. And now that is not to be - please know that my thoughts are with you and the wonderful memory of a long friendship with her will always be with me. The angels in heaven will be very glad to have her join their choir. With many happy memories but what a sad time. Heather Turchyn - Brockville
