Obituary of Hazel Maloof

April 5, 1936-September 30, 2021 It is with sadness the family announces that Hazel passed away peacefully Thursday September 30th, 2021, at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Galetta, Ontario, Mary Florence Hazel Maloof, at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Michael and Florence (Dodge) Maloof. Dear sister of Estelle Maloof. Hazel was predeceased by brothers; Cecil Maloof (late Mary), Francis (late Jean), Norman and sister Leona Cardiff (late Gerald) and nephew Michael. She will be missed by nephews Steve (Marie David), Phillip, Peter, Shane, Allan (Shelly) and Michael, nieces Frances Gillespie (David), Deanna Langford (late Orville), several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Hazel worked at Playtex Canada in Arnprior for 13 years in the office department and remained living at the family home in Galetta with her sister Estelle. She was an avid birdwatcher, animal and nature lover. Hazel’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Interment will be held at a later date at the Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery, where Hazel will be laid to rest with her parents.
