Obituary of Evalene Davis

(nee Smyth) Peacefully at Garden Terrace, Kanata with loved ones by her side on Wednesday morning, April 13, 2022; Evalene Gladys Davis (nee Smyth) formerly of Kinburn passed away at the blessed age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Reginald Thomas Davis (2004). Much loved mother of Brian (Jean), John (Karen) and Isobel (Paul). Cherished and proud grandmother of Paul (deceased), Shawn, Derek (Gwenn), Carter (Angie), Chad (Chantal), Brock (Hayley), Justine (Ian) and great grandmother of Evalene, Connor, Charlotte and Alexandra. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Lena (Ross) Smyth, brothers Gillies (late Marion) and Ross, brothers-in-law Ken, Gordon (late Hazel), Arthur (late Marg), Clifford (late Jean) and sister-in-law Isobel. Evalene was a devoted member of St. Thomas Anglican Church in Woodlawn and will be long remembered for her many talents and acts of kindness within the church and community. Special thanks to the staff at Garden Terrace for their compassionate care. Evalene’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.
