Kathryn Ann Burgess (Hall) of Kinburn, passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in her 75th year. She is survived by her best friend and beloved husband Bryson, of 52 years. Devoted mother to Christopher (Kerri) of Beckwith. Loving grandmother of Bailey of Frisco, Texas. Dear sister of Susan (late Bob Smith) of Kanata, Richard (Carol) of Arnprior and Robert (Jo-Anne) of Stony Plain, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents Bertram and Helen Hall of Arnprior. Kathryn will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and friends. A longtime employee of Sandvik Steel Canada, Kathryn loved her plants and flower gardens, reading, playing piano, swimming, baking, country living, and her many German Shepherd companions. She was a devoted supporter of the Ottawa Mission, University of Ottawa Heart Institute, CHEO and St. Andrew’s United Church of Pakenham. Her family would like to thank the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Dialysis Unit and 2nd floor medical staff for the outstanding care they provided. A special “Thank You” to Mike Walsh, Jocelynn Dunn and the entire staff at Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program Inc., for the transportation and their wonderful service. Kathryn’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. As per Kathryn’s wishes, a private service will be held. Interment at Pakenham Union Cemetery. For those who wish, a donation to a charity of your choice in memory of Kathryn would be appreciated by the family.
