To Linda and Orville's family,
My sympathies to you all for the loss of your father, grandfather, great-grandfather. I grew up in the church and we all knew Mr. Blackburn and his great laugh. As I grew older I came to realize and appreciate his dedicated hard work for the church. As an adult and fellow Elder and Manager I found it so strange to start saying Orville instead of Mr. Blackburn. We had some great chats by telephone and in person in recent years and he still had that laugh and big hearty Hello greeting. He is in God's loving embrace and once again reunited with his Effie.
