Obituary of Barbara McDermott

(nee Amo) Passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew Friday October 28, 2022 with her 3 sons at her side. She is survived by her partner and best friend of 58 years James. She leaves 3 sons, Michael McDermott, Stephen Gorman & Barry Gorman and grandchildren Grace and Lily McDermott, Kacie Gorman and Ryan and Scott Gorman. She will be missed by sister Sherry Amo and brothers Wayne, Randy, Joey & Brian Amo. Predeceased by sisters Marilyn & Linda and brother Perry. Barbara’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. There will be a celebration of Barbara’s life in the coming months by invitation. In memory of Barbara, a donation may be made to Hospice Renfrew.
