Obituary of James Croskery

It is with deep sadness that the family announces James passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital Wednesday evening, November 9, 2022. Surrounded by his loving family, James went peacefully listening to his favourite Beatles music. He was 70. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Jana (McKay), his son Shane (Andrea) and daughter Cara. He was a loving and devoted Poppa to Annika and his namesake Lily James. Grandfather to Maya and Aidan. James was the son of Elspeth (Rutherford) and John Croskery. Predeceased by brother John. Dearly loved sisters Sheila (Allan) Friesen and Elizabeth (Mark) Hawkins. Brother-in-law to late Saundra and Paul Glynn, late John McKay, Sheilagh (late Phil) Poole, late Peter (Pat) McKay and George (late Heather) McKay. James leaves behind many nieces and nephews. James’ arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of James, random acts of kindness would be appreciated by the family.
