Obituary of Boyd McCourt

August 16, 1931 - January 6, 2023 With sadness the family announces that Boyd James McCourt passed away peacefully at Greystone Village Retirement Home in Ottawa on January 6, 2023 at the age of 91. Boyd was born in Arnprior and grew up on the family farm, he is predeceased by his late parents Thomas and Bertha (McEwen) McCourt. He is the dear brother of Hollis Robillard (late James) and was predeceased by his brother Charles McCourt (Marie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his love of the farm, his long walks up and down the hill, his love of tinkering with automobiles and his 1949 Ford truck. He was always known to enjoy a good meal and a hot cup of tea and always said he had fond memories working at Hydro. Visitation will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Boyce Chapel. Private Family Interment at White Lake Community Cemetery. A donation may be made in Boyd’s memory to Ukraine Relief.
