Obituary of Lois Russett

(nee Saunders) Lois passed peacefully into the hands of her Lord and Saviour at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday evening, January 28, 2023 with her family by her side. Lois Joy Russett of Arnprior, formerly of Braeside was just 8 days shy of her 89th birthday. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Blyth A. Russett. (Nov. 11, 2021). Loving mother of Tim (Nicola), Lynn, and Scott (Glenda). Cherished grandma of Jarvis, Janessa (Marc), Janelle, Kaitlyn and Salyna. Predeceased by brother Clifford Saunders, sisters Lorna Clark (late Roland) and Donetta Watson (late Ronald), sister-in-law Gloria Hamilton (late Bill) and brothers-in-law William “Bill” (Dorothy) and Rayburn. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Rev. Morrison and Jean (Taylor) Saunders. Heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital as well as the staff at Island View Retirement Residence for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Thursday morning, February 2, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Boyce Chapel. Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. Spring Interment Castleford Union Cemetery.
