Obituary of Lorna Cavanagh

(nee Scott) March 25, 1931 - May 6, 2023 It is with sadness that we announce our Family Matriarch Lorna Jean Cavanagh passed away peacefully Saturday morning, May 6, 2023 at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. Predeceased by husband Stanley Cavanagh (2016). Cherished mother of Ross (Lori), Bruce (Brenda), Sherry and Rick (Tacey). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Cory (Sarah), Courtney (Brian), Laura (Phil), Scott (Amanda), Megan (Rudy), Eddie (Ashley), Carly (Cory), Jeffrey, Bobby Jo (Brian) and great-grandchildren Claire, Carson, Bryson, Olivia, Reagan, Rylee, Jordyn, Austin, Clayton, Lawson, Robert, Aurora and Elliott. Dear sister-in-law of Hilda Cavanagh (late Mervyn). Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Doris, Millie (late Andy), Daisy (late Neil), Lila (late Gordon) and Elsie (late Cyril) and brothers Leonard (late Lois), Robert (late Norma) and George (late Doreen). Daughter of the late James and Olive (Shaw) Scott. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Montfort Hospital and the Arnprior Hospital. Lorna’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where visitations will be held Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. only and again Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Boyce Reception Centre. Cremation to follow. Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Kinburn Sunday May 21, 2023. In memoriams to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
