I had the pleasure of getting to know Heather with my partner (Michael Stackpole) who is a life long friend and brother of Pete’s through the Fire Department. We loved going to their home and cottage as you always felt welcome. Heather and I had some wonderful conversations. As sad as it is, I know Heather is in a better place now as her quality of life diminished rapidly after her stroke. Both her and Pete have the world of friends that will always be there for Pete to help him through these difficult times. Heather will be fondly remembered and greatly missed and always hold a special place in my heart.
