Obituary of Joan Moreland

Joan passed away as she wished, peacefully at home, surrounded by those that she loved dearly. Beloved wife of the late Charles Robert “Bob” Moreland (June 18, 2015) for 59 wonderful years. Dear mother of Jim Moreland (Barb), Debra Cavanagh (Lyle) and Janice Banes (Don). Much loved grandmother of Jeremy Cavanagh (Amy), Kyle Cavanagh (Shelley), Robbie Moreland (Mackenzie), Daniel Moreland, Donald Banes, Justin Banes and Tylin Banes. Cherished great-grandmother of Madison and Everly Moreland, Texas, Austin, Rose and Elle Cavanagh. Dear sister of Jim Veitch (Ilona) and predeceased by her sister Diane Henckel (Ray). Auntie Joan will be greatly missed by special niece Wendy Showler. Sincere thanks to the Nurses and Doctors at the Multi Care Kidney (MCK) Clinic for their exceptional care and compassion over the past several years. Joan’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Private Family Service will take place at a later date with interment at the Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. In memoriams to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
