Obituary of Blaine Carr

October 26, 1952 - November 23, 2023

It is with great sadness the family of Blaine Carr announce his passing after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Debbie (McMillan), the proud father of Chris (Amy), Tina, and Scott. He was blessed with five of the brightest lights in his life, his grandchildren Izabelle and Arthur Phillips, Kevin, Seth, and Adelaide Carr. He was the last remaining child of the late Pearl (Schlievert) and Herman Carr. Blaine was predeceased by his brothers Kenny (Lynn) and Greg (late Tracy), and his sister Cathie (late Jerry Cloutier). He was also predeceased by his in-laws Jean (MacLaren) and Arthur McMillan, Kevin, Robert (Mary Teresa), and Kathy. Remembered by his niece Jamie (Kyle), their son Odin, and his nephew Rodney. Blaine proudly served Arnprior as a volunteer firefighter for 46 years following in the footsteps of his father's 19 years and his brother Kenny's 50 years. Blaine's arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Celebration of Blaine's Life will be held at the Arnprior Legion, 49 Daniel Street N., Arnprior on Sunday December 10, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. In Blaine's memory please send no flowers, instead be kind, do no harm and try to bring a smile to someone in need...all it will cost is a moment of your time.
