Kenneth (Ken) Walter Lovegrove

January 28, 1935 – April 5, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Lovegrove announce his passing on Friday April 5, 2024 at the age of 89. Ken was born in Montreal. In the 70’s he moved to Constance Bay and worked at Bell Northern until his retirement. Ken is the loving husband of 8 years to Barbara Baird and will be greatly missed by her children Di Anna, Ritchie and Jennifer. Predeceased by his first wife, Thelma Layzell in 2012 and his brother Ron (2019). Ken was an active member of the West Carleton Christian Assembly Church in Kinburn until moving to Arnprior. Ken loved spending time in his woodworking hobby shop and travelling to Myrtle Beach in the winter months. Ken will be missed by his extended family and many nieces and nephews here in Canada and the United States. The family would like to thank the staff at Island View Suites in Arnprior as well as the staff at Forest Hill in Kanata for the exceptional care. Ken’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior where visitation will be held Friday April 12, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at the Boyce Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken’s memory to the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program Inc.
