After 101 years, Grace has left this earth for a better place. She passed away at Fairview Manor, Almonte, on Friday April 19, 2024 with her granddaughter, Laura holding her hand. Predeceased by her parents, her brother Felix and sisters Paula and Mary, and her beloved son, Michael. Grace leaves behind her daughter, Jill Cornwell, her daughter in law Maxine McGonigal, her grandchildren Mike Simpson, Josh (Dayna) Cornwell, Adam Cornwell, Lynn McGonigal, Laura (Brien) DeVries and her treasured great-grandchildren Sian (Tully) Cornwell, Jake Cornwell, Amelia and Miles DeVries. Also left behind are her dear friends and caregivers Marjorie and Lorna Kelly as well as Meggan, Melanie and Russell. Grace’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 24, 2024 at St. John Chrysostom Roman Catholic Church, Arnprior at 2:00 p.m. Interment at  Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to CHEO in memory of Grace. Rest easy, Grace – your journey has ended-know that you were loved and will be missed.
