Carol, Jim, Christine and everyone please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of dear Hilda. My memories of her are all heartwarming - time spent at the farm, her fantastic cooking and baking, but most of all her infectious giggle. She was one of the most kind, caring and considerate souls I’ve ever met. We could talk for hours, she never judged…just listened with an open heart. I hadn't seen Hilda or Cecil for a few years. I reached out the morning of to see if they were around for a quick visit. I wanted to avoid lunch time for the visit, because I didn't want to put any pressure on Hilda to make lunch. But Hilda insisted that I come for lunch, and when I sat down, she seemed so happy. It was how I always remember Hilda - doing things to make others happy.
