Dear Cynthia and families,
What a great legacy your mom had. As a teacher myself, I know how much love she poured into her students. She taught me ukelele in grade 7 at Walter Zadow School. I also remember being part of the church choir she led on Friday nights. It was nice to see and chat with you and both your mom and dad at my mom's 80th birthday party five years ago. Wishing you many happy memories of your mom. Blessings.

Mrs. Berry was my music teacher at Braeside Public School and was the first person in my life to notice I had a singing voice that should be nurtured. I have such great memories of her at church too, where she always ha a loving word for me, encouragement and kindness. My condolences to her children, whom I have not seen in a long time, but I remember all of you fondly and I treasure my memories of your mom and always will.

My condolences on the passing of Mrs. Berry. She was one of my favourite teachers. I was in her last class at Alexander Reid the year she retired. I was impressed that she would remember me even years later. I’m glad she had many more years of retirement to enjoy!

My deepest condolences to you Austin and all of your children on the passing of your wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful soul. xo
I recall those days, as neighbours, on John Street with fondness. Her kindness extended beyond everyone in the neighbourhood and thorough out the community. My children loved to visit her home when your guys and mine chummed together.

Mrs Berry was my music teacher for years at Alexander Reid, and then in her final year of teaching she enthusiastically was my teaching mentor as I completed teacher’s college. She was an amazing role model to me and I was grateful for her guidance as a beginning teacher! Throughout the years, she always was so friendly when our paths crossed, always wanting to hear of my adventures and successes. She was a wonderful woman!
My sympathies, Shelley Graham

Our deepest condolences.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Austin, Cindy, Paul, Ross, Margaret, Arnold, and extended family.
We shared so many memories together.
I remember the first time I met Cindy and we became best friends. I remember the first time I met the entire family, I was welcomed with Love and made to feel part of their family. I remember the sleepovers, the meals shared together, the laughter, and the giggling, the trip we all took together in the new motorhome, the plowing matches, and the skidoo rides.
So much fun and love. These are just a few of the many memories.
When I think of Velma, I remember her love for her family, I think of the 69 beautiful years you both shared together, her kindness, her love for music, piano, singing, teaching, her love for life, and her faithfulness to the Lord.
A very special Lady.
Love Nancy (Cotnam) & Everett Fradsham
