Raymond Arthur Turcotte

February 16, 1947- December 25, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Arthur Turcotte, who left us peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 77. He was the loving husband of Linda (nee Taylor), a devoted father to Lisa and Andrew Turcotte, and a caring brother to Dale Turcotte and Sally Loveless. He was predeceased by his brother Ron Turcotte (late Sylvia) and was a beloved uncle to Ronda Lee and Jamie Turcotte, as well as a brother-in-law to Tom Taylor (Wanda). Born in Temagami to his late parents Arthur and Edith (Duhn) Turcotte, Raymond later became a resident of Arnprior and took great pride in his hometown. Raymond dedicated many years to Gillies Mill, where his work ethic and commitment were well-recognized. In his leisure time, he found joy and peace in the outdoors, with hunting being a cherished pastime during his younger years. Raymond's memory will be honored for his hard work and his deep-rooted love for the natural landscapes of Arnprior. His legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have know him. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. Spring interment at Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation in his name.
