Lynn and family,
So sorry to hear of Kens passing. He was an inspiration to me, when I first joined the AFD. I will always remember his eagerness to help the “Young Lads” learn and his great sense of humour .

I worked with the OPP in town for 9 years. Went to many calls and shared a building with Ken. A classy guy, a fine firefighter and a true hero. Condolences from me, my wife Megan (Moorhead) and daughter Brooke.

My sincere condolences to Ken's family, and to the brotherhood of Arnprior firefighters that he loved, on his passing. I had the privilege of working alongside Kennny for 26 years with the Arnprior Fire Department, and learned a lot from him. He will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace my brother.

ODE TO A FIREFIGHTER
A firefighter stood at the Pearly Gate
With face worn, wrinkled and old
And meekly asked the man of faith
For admission to the fold.
"What have you done", Saint Peter asked
"To seek admission here?"
"I was a firefighter down on earth
For many, many years."
Oh the gates were opened sharply,
And Saint Peter rang the bell.
"Come in and grab a harp," he said
"For you've seen enough of hell."
