Mansell Kenneth "Ken" Carr

(Retired Weavexx Corporation after 34 years)

Passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital surrounded by family Thursday April 19th, 2018.  Ken Carr, a lifelong resident of Arnprior at the age of 71.  Beloved husband of 52 years to Lynn Deacon.  Dear brother of Blaine (Debbie) and Greg (Tracy), both of Arnprior.  Ken was predeceased by his parents Herman and Dorothy (nee Schlievert) Carr and sister Catherine.  He will be missed by his nieces and nephews; Chris, Amy, Tina, Scott, Liz, Jamie, Kyle and J.D.  Special brother-in-law to Lorrie Cuthbertson (Bill).  “Capt. Carr” committed 50 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Town of Arnprior.  His jovial lighthearted manner will be missed by all.  The family wish to extend a special thank-you to the homecare team as well as the doctors and nurses of the Arnprior Hospital for their excellent care and support.  Private arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  For those wishing to honour Ken’s memory, donations to the “Telus Ride for Dad” Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation would be appreciated.
